HAAi remix starting to fall. I expect it to be replaced by the Orginal in the top 10 by end of day on itunes or both version sitting between 10-20 on Saturday.

 

If BMG wanted to keep PP off ACR don't understand why they didn't release an HAAi edit for streaming purposes. Its been added to no playlists at all yet. Having said that HAAi have a bigger reach than Absolute does so maybe 10-15k of Worldwide streams on Spotify on Friday.

 

Lots of competition for streams this week so it's going to be a big battle but the good thing is PP is established somewhat so as already mentioned the stability is great.

 

Single 2 roll out should be fun as the Residency announcement and the Album release getting closer. I guess single 2 may well have a feature from an artist too in a remix

 

Is it still playlisted on Capital, Magic and Kiss?

 

The exciting part is what promo she is going to do in USA to help the radio pick up

 

 

How much do we think Las Vegas tickets will be? Reasonable?

 

 

Bmg need to have everything on streaming asap to try and avoid acr but kylie having a top 10 hit and 10 weeks in the top 30 this day and age is a brilliant result even if acr hits.

I think even though they’ve clearly finished pushing Padam now; it will still somewhat overshadow a new single and they should wait a fair bit longer for it to fall out of the top 40 at least.

Well if it goes ACR it will be out of top 40 straight away.

 

 

its not just the album she is selling, she has a Las Vegas residency starting mid October/November reportly so they will have to get this news out etc and a new single would be a good time to release with free promo from the residency. but who knows.

Taken off BBC Radio 1 and 2 playlists

If PP goes into ACR then she is dropping out of the top 40 straight away in the UK. Dropping off Apple now, down to 20th at their streaming so they need to work on those streams not just Spotify. Maybe BMG & Kylie though are wanting ACR to then focus on single 2 in UK and increasing those album pre-orders?

 

The new song should be coming very soon.

Padam Padam is the only single so far in 2023 that Radio 2 kept on the playlist for as long as 8 weeks - so it being removed now is reasonable, I think. I'm also surprised that Radio 1 kept it on their playlist for as long as 4 weeks considering it seems it being added at all was in a begrudging fashion!

 

At least it all came together last week for it to finally reach #1 on airplay, so I don't mind so much that radio play will weaken now. It's done its job! :cool:
