What will be the second single then do we think?

Every other act on BMG (expect Kylie) spends 1 week on the album chart and is never heard of again, it’s not a great strategy to focus everything on week 1.

 

 

Not totally true Steps have managed more than one week for every album since their comeback:

 

Tears On The Dancefloor - 24 weeks

What The Future Holds - 10 weeks

WTFH Part 2 - 7 weeks

Platinum Collection - 6 weeks

They should plan physicals for weeks 1, 3 and 5 for Tension.

 

I don't think they should plan for physicals for week 1 tbh - her download sales will probably be the highest that week, so it would be better to boost the physical number another week.

 

But I agree, plan maybe a physical release on week 3/4 from the start, with another boost somewhere around week 6/7, then start gearing up for the next single.

Love that, shows that even on ACR it’s still pulling in decent streams etc.,

 

Hopefully it gets a big album release boost too.

That is a very decent midweek position for this week.

A Top 60 placement remains in reach for another week.

Very happy with 56 in the mids, its holding nice and steady since it went on ACR, things still looking good for padam padam to stay top 75 until the album is released.

Well it will get a bit of promo from the BBC sounds Kylie vote too lol.

 

If they tag it onto the single 2 release on streaming then it will get a boost too.

 

Remember from 22nd we have to stream all versions of PP again 10 times a day. Really could make a difference

Remaining in the Top 75 area of the chart from now until the release of Tension would result in Padam Padam achieving one of Kylies very best chart runs.
