Ahh it needs to break the top 50 now !

Hopefully 3 x Radio A lists, The CD single release pushing it into the first look chart next week with a subsequent R1 play will get it into the Top 50.

If the CDs ship as advertised it could have a very decent placement on the first look chart that would create some interest and even more backing from the fans.

Love that a 2024 Kylie release has achieved that - in the streaming era I never thought we’d see that in the UK or US.

It was definitely something I'll never forget/never quite believe was actually real!

I think they should have probably waited one or two more weeks before releasing the CD, as I predict the song will be comfortably top 50 by the end of the week, and will be peaking on Spotify in the next two weeks, it'll still be on the climb this coming week. I doubt it will push for top 10 this for next Friday with the CD release, but might have made it in a few weeks.

Wednesday is the crucial day for Spotify streams, and Kylie is up a modest number of places! Dua Lipa also makes a good climb so I assume that she will stay above Kylie. Massive plummets for two out of 3 Taylor Swift songs. Can Kylie climb above ‘Snow On The Beach’? Fingers crossed.

Late Night Talking and Green Green Grass are down. Kylie climbs above Heat Waves. It’s looking promising!

It’s just that bl**dy Amazon has a habit of supporting these older songs - but hopefully they’ve had an early advantage because of how quickly Amazon submits its data. I really believe that Amazon Prime should be excluded from the chart because of how it will play you anything other than what you want to hear.

Still 24 in todays midweek!

The consistency - I’ll be happy with a 2 place climb though, most Kylie singles don’t even last 2 weeks in the charts usually!

#1 and #36 on iTunes - 2nd version is gaining all the time! :w00t:

Snatch those extra sales for tomorrows chart.

#24 today with 11,680 sales.

#20 has 12,525 sales and #23 has 12,131 so expecting it to stay where it is for Fridays chart.

Doesn’t seem like it’ll get higher than #24 but I have this horrible feeling that ‘Late Night Talking’ by Harry Styles (which is currently #25) is going to overtake.

I'm a bit confused as to why the streams are showing as the same as last week, when it's improved hugely on Apple and Spotify over the week?

There has been some dodgy figures given all week when it comes to the streaming numbers. It doesn't seem correct at all as like you mentioned she has visibly gained on streaming since last week.

Unless there is some data missing from somewhere?

Also streaming is up but it could be a higher % of free streams versus premium streams which would give a lower sales figure when converted?
