Tbh it's more like a brand new Charli song with a few bits of the original buried in it. It's Charli's island now :lol:

Hmm not loving the George Daniel/Charli XCX remix tbh oops, indeed it's more like a new song that just samples 'Welcome To My Island', not that that's inherently a bad thing but I thought the new elements of it were just ok. (There was also another remix by PVA which I like slightly more actually but I think I'll just be sticking to the original, which remains flawless ofc x)

 

New single 'Blood & Butter' should be dropping today apparently!

The new song out at midnight features bagpipes :o :o

Blood and Butter is nice, doesn't live up to any of the other singles but worth it for the bagpipes I guess.

 

The tracklist is out now too - pretty similar to the one already in this thread but the most notable difference is that 'Dang' has been dropped/never existed and 'Fly To You' features Grimes and Dido (!!) instead of PinkPantheress. Easily the most :cheeseblock: -worthy collab of the year so far. (I'm also slightly surprised Blood and Butter aren't back-to-back on the album considering that one sound effect from Billions shows up towards the end of Blood and Butter and makes them flow together quite nicely!)

PinkPantheress being swapped out for Dido ( / it always being Dido instead? the earlier leak being so close but not quite right makes me think it was a draft version of the tracklist though) is definitely an interesting choice lmao but it could be good.
