Agreed. I saw her at the London Eurovision Party the other day (nearly knocked to the floor by the 1-2 punch of Tattoo then Euphoria) and everything is effortlessly brilliant, she oozes superstar quality.

Seems so nice and humble to boot too. How she's not more of a megastar - particularly in the cult pop space like Robyn and Carly Rae Jepsen - is a mystery. People on a work call asked me yesterday who was at the gig and when I mentioned Loreen I was met with 14 blank stares and one girl who did know her, but is more of a Eurovision fan anyway.

^^ This

I was there too (bloody brilliant night and what a venue). She was her usual effortless self and I too remain perplexed that she hasn’t cut though beyond the Eurovision enclave.

FWIW I think her main threat comes from Spain (less so Finland) and that performance from Blanca was first class. I say this objectively, as I’m not crazy about the song but I’m

gripped by the visual performance.

I will be astonished if Spain beats Finland in the televote, i just don’t think the song itself is going to connect with the public in the way people expect it to. But happy to be proven wrong as the performance was mesmerising I agree, Blanca is quite a talent.

This is so much better than Euphoria. I could never deal with the "up up up up' part of Eurphoria.
her doing the rounds with all the uk drag queens rn is all the content i’ll ever need

Is that you finished with the internet for good?

Only won because of the ceiling, of course!

Only gonna win cos of Loreen’s name power. Nothing to do with the song or her undeniable star power or anything.

Eurovision Twitter is getting so annoying about her in the past few weeks, surely only triggered by the fact people are so certain she’s going to win and people just hate to back a favourite.

I’m having the same issue with one of my friend who follows Eurovision. He’s automatically slamming her by saying she’s been there done that with Euphoria and she’s trying to do the same thing again…I gave up going back and forth with him but I certainly cannot wait for her to win and rub it in his face and yes, he’s also thinking there’s no way she’s going to win again with the “same” formula from 10 years ago!!!
I dont have the love for the song like so many others have and i was the same with euphoria, i liked it but didnt love it but can easily see why both songs are so popular. My only thing and this is nothing to do with Sweden or Loreen i hate a runaway winner as it takes away from the excitement, from a surprise point of view id like to see Sweden not win as many online sites feel its certain to win, best of luck to Loreen if she does it.
She’s great but for me the song is leagues below Euphoria. I do wonder if it’s going to go down as well with the general public as with the fans.

The song is definitely below Euphoria, but for me everything else is too. But it's still an absolutely brilliant track that I prefer to almost anything else released this year - Eurovision or otherwise.

I find it hard to predict the public vote because on one hand you think 'will the public go for the same singer with a song that is different but not a million miles away in sound to her winner', and then you look at the charts across Europe where it's already smashing and I think 'well they're streaming and buying it, so why wouldn't they vote for her again'.
