It could be a second #1 single for Taylor Swift with Anti-Hero, with a few more tracks from her as well as Arctic Monkeys set to enter off the back of their album releases. There's new singles from Lil Uzi Vert, Ellie Goulding, Fred Again, Joel Corry and Caroline Polachek

Taylor Swift looks to claim her ninth consecutive #1 with Midnights, with her closest competition coming from Arctic Monkeys' latest record The Car in what should be a high-selling Top 2. A busy week includes new releases from Loyle Carner with Hugo, Carly Rae Jepsen with The Loneliest Time, Simple Minds with Direction of the Heart and Dry Cleaning with Stumpwork, along with albums from Architects, a-ha, Meghan Trainor, Jean-Michel Jarre, Andrea/Matteo/Virginia Bocelli, Avantasia, piri & Tommy, Tegan & Sara, Goat, Brutus and bbno$

Breakdown of the week

- Saturday: Some information may be posted on social media but it is likely to be missing most streaming data and is unrepresentative.

- Sunday: Official First Look Chart on Radio 1 from 6-7pm. Please do not post spoilers on the forum in advance as this ruins the countdown for any listeners.

- Monday: OCC Top 100 from 5:45pm

- Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one.

- Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed.

- Thursday: See Tuesday.

Other notes (please read)

- You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod).

- Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue.

- Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored. Any chart requests between No. 41 to 100 will not be answered after Monday's update.

- To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and Spotify threads.

Impossible Princess is no 5 in the Sunday midweeks with 6,000 sales according to a reliable source on a Kylie website.

No6 is on 3k and No10 on 1,527 so IP will highly likely get a new peak in the UK. Those are pretty astonishing sales for a vinyl re-release.

Can people stream maroon so it replaces snow on the beach, SOTB is a middle of the road song on the album and is only streaming high as it’s directly after people clicking anti-hero

i mean, i do agree that snow on the beach is a very mid song, but i don't think being after antihero is causing it to stream highly, i think its more due to the fact that its the only collab, and a lana collab

Thanks to Conor for hosting tonight - I'm having a TV night  (including Doctor Who at 7:30 of course x)
aaaahhhh theyre playing dylan on radio 1! IK its on the playlist but its so nice to see her on the radio, i love her and i'm looking forward to her album next week
I will be here for once! I wonder why 🤭

Yes, I wonder what I’m interested in too :P

Yup, agree and it’s also the most popular lyric video I think.

But also agree Maroon is more worthy of being in the top 3

kinda surprised this is the hottest record, are they gonna play it twice cos its more than likely #1
