November 4, 20222 yr The makeover challenge is ALWAYS one where they can (within some form of reason, however loose that may be) manipulate it the way they want. Sometimes family resemblance matters, sometimes it's about the fun, sometimes it's about the "connection", sometimes it's about stunning make up. Dakota was a solid 3rd in this challenge, Jonbers and Pixie as a clear weakest two for me. My biggest question is... WHY are they keeping Jonbers? It's not like the production is using her much, she's felt disposable for about 5 episodes but they're clearly carrying her through. I'm just failing to see any reason as to why, they can't surely have expected her to be a bigger fan favourite than Dakota?!
November 5, 20222 yr I liked the episode except the judging. Bottom should've been Pixie and Jonbers. Dakota should've been safe, I thought she did the 3rd best behind Cheddar and Danny. Well deserved win from Cheddar, the make-up was stunning. Danny did really well too. I don't see how this isn't going to turn into Cheddar vs Danny for the crown. Black Peppa may be in contention if she wins the next challenge and has a great final night (there's only 1 more challenge left I believe?). Sad to see Dakota go. I hope she'll appear on an All Stars or Vs the world series at some point in the future! I bet she's going to grow so much outside the competition. :wub:
November 7, 20222 yr I am so glad I am not the only one who thinks Pixie should have been in the bottom two! The make up he did was simply dreadful and the outfit did not flatter Wendy one bit. I’ve really gone off the person too they think they are much better than they actually are. The way they came for Jonbers and sat there all snarky in the untuck room… eurgh! Really white sad about Dakota and quite frankly disagree with critiques I thought they hit the brief 100%. Family resemblance was totally there and it was totally the week for them to stick to their signature style otherwise it wouldn’t have been family resemblance would it! Chedder also stuck totally to their own style yet did not get that critique. Pixie and Black pepper should have been bottom two for me with pixie going. Edited November 7, 20222 yr by Scary Spiceboy
