Absolutely amazed that Wildfire finished in the top five! :cheer: That's our highest ever finish in BJSC and by some distance (with our previous best being 10th) so thank you so much to everyone who voted for it, glad you also love it as it's one of my favourite songs of this year! :heart:

 

Congrats to Oslol, a really good winner! Glad that Kyriatine finished in the top 10 as well, Aeroche should have joined them though!

Finally an edition that I think the top 3 is really good! Some great pop songs there! Oslol winning with a song that I think is the best winner since Oblivion. Congratulations! Thank you Wouter and John for hosting. Love to see the excitement going on! I didn't expect Ingermanlandia, TARO Bellamia Hushkanukia to flop that hard tbh. I think they are all decent pop songs here.

 

I'm hoping to turn my fortunes around in the next edition with a beautiful and touching orchestral track. I will try my hands on sending pop again next year and I hope I will be able to get some votes!

Didn't expect much for my entry, 19th was better than the ~25th I was expecting so just like with California's midterm results I'm satisfied for the most part :cheer: on track to getting more than one song placing in the teens :P Glad to see y'all appreciated something darker AFTER Halloween ended, thanks so much for the votes!

Floored by 2nd place *.* From third to last in the semis straight to 2nd in the final. What a UK at Eurovision style turnaround.

 

Thanks to all the voters, as there were many, and to Looky for the 18. I knew the track would stand out but I certainly wasn't expecting anywhere near a silver medal.

 

Still the win eludes us, having come second twice this year now and three times since our last win.

 

Happy with the top three, congrats to Oslol and their Becky Hill style single and Altyr for yet another top three.

 

Pleasant surprise to see Kyriatine in the top ten, that was really good. A little surprised Aeroche is down in 13th, that sounded pretty huge to me.

 

Mulgracia and Hushkanikia deserved a lot more too, didn't expect them to be quite that low.

 

And such a shame for Lookylion, the song is a grower which is maybe a risk when you have an AQ as you only have one chance to make an impression and people already have their favourites, but thanks for sending it anyway as it's such a great discovery. I can't remember the last time my 18 finished in the bottom five :(

 

Thanks for hosting though Looky, and Altyr for the semis. Quite a unique show to have it hosted in the daytime, and fun to follow.

Congrats Oslol. Was in my commiserations but fair play.

 

I was off with quite a few of those top 10's. Certainly some major unexpected smashes from St Burbia and Kryiatine in particular. The former could have always had potential to do well but I thought it could get lost a bit so kudos there.

 

Thrilled to see Arcodesia and FSR Rontviasmash it with excellent tracks too. Oh and about time for Addy too after the floppy year he's had but this was easily his best entry this year so doubly good there.

 

18th yay. I believe that's another first position for us so hooray for that ^_^

 

'Lego Blocks' sounded like a top 10/15 to me so a little bit of a shame it ended up 25th but at least it wasn't bottom 10 I suppose. Danaeviia and Ben's Sanctuary are a little lower than I'd have wanted but no other major surprises and Looky's was lovely too and deserved to be a decent amount higher too.
