I must admit I thought they'd be shite at this world cup without Mane but fair play, I really worry about playing them if indeed England do draw them. I'd almost prefer to play Netherlands as at least they're a known force to us.

I saw the Netherlands game, I wish I switched over, it was dull as dishwater. On the whole I'm happy as England could/will be playing Senegal in the next round, seeing Ecuador in the earlier games they did nothing for me, we could have easily wiped them off as well.

If Iran beat USA and we only draw then they'd win the group and we'd play Netherlands next but then avoid France in the QF.

In fairness I’ve been hearing a lot of sour grapes this tournament towards Qatar but it’s hardly the players fault all the noise in the background - they must be fairly gutted the way they performed.

They just crumbled under the pressure. Clearly they've got good players as they wouldn't be Asian champions otherwise but all the off-field noise must have got in their head.
