The only line up to do an arena tour was actually 3.0 for the Greatest Hits tour

2.0, despite talking up the commercials, never touched arenas.

 

Yup, and they downgraded again for the Change tour, making me think the GH arena tour didn't do quite as well as they'd hope.

 

Maybe if Mutya had stayed on, 2.0 would've done arenas more consistently, but as has been said - their selling point is mainly their vocals and not the razzle-dazzle. The only way for them to start doing arena tours is if the demand becomes too big like it got with Adele.

 

I’m sure they can manage to sell almost all tickets soon. Just give them some time. At the end of the day, they’re like s new act for some people.

How are the sales going? I hope the summer shows sell out the tickets! I would love them to be a SOLD OUT act!

They've opened up some of the upper blocks for sale, it was previously only the lower blocks for sale.

I think they’ll stick to theatres, I mean it’s took them nearly a year to sell it to the half an arena - I mean this as no shade but I feel like theatres is best. Especially if they are going to performing as regularly as they are.

But again, not bad for an act that has been gone for many many years!

 

I feel we are in for a great surprise for the 02.

Personally, I’d prefer them to stay at the slightly smaller venues.

Let us all see what they do. I remember most saying ages ago that they did not want them to do other Sugababe songs, and welllllllllll...............everyone loves it now!

 

A mixture of medium and large venues will be great!

Yawn, was hoping for someone good.

I plan to see Shygirl in two weeks time since I've heard she's good live.

I expected Sugababes 4.0 (AKA the real Sugababes) to be the support act. :coffee:
