December 25, 20222 yr Author Most Streamed Song Of 2022 HHusapx5hwo Well since it's ineligible it might as well get a seperate post by itself. 'The World' was my BJSC 148 Entry which disappointingly finished 26th. Back when the trance is dead trend was floating around I thought a trance song like this would appeal and do much better than it did and after 'Orihime' earlier in the year proved everyone wrong by coming 3rd too :( Maybe it was a bit in the past it stage as tbh the track dates back to 2012 so perhaps it would have done better in a different time frame. That hasn't stopped old trance songs from smashing before though. Anyway I was obsessed with it when I found it in September 2021 and the length justifies how fab it is throughout. It builds wonderfully through and yes does have a BIG DROP to boot. As for the rest of the top 10 in this, will any of these be up in the official top 10 or appear in my EOY at all? (excluding OMD and PIPO Angels) Find out tomorrow!
