Though if Wilf hadn't shut Kieran out and thrown him under the bus, there wouldn't have been a need, so it adds another layer to the gameplay. Wilf played well but he brought about his own downfall by

I’m really loving this so far, even though I’m 3 years to slow.

I’m up to where Theo has just been banished.

Favourites so far are Hannah, Faye, Aaron and Andrea.

Maddy and Will annoy me a bit.

Once I’ve finished Season 1, I’ll be going straight to season 2.

Such a wonderful final episode, genuinely so happy for mainly Hannah and Aaron. Willf took it so well. Hats off to him. I was t expecting that. He seems like a genuine person.

Yeah the first series is fantastic really; especially the last episode.

I remember at the time thinking there isn't enough time left for them to banish again - then Aaron and Hannah didn't want to end the game and Wilf was then banished! It was great TV.

Series 2 and 3 are great too - but 1 I think is special... especially as it was the first series of it and it pretty much knocks it out of the park straight away!

Thanks for your insight.

That’s exactly how I felt about the sign. Series 1 was fantastic, Series 2 was ok, but just not as good. It git cancelled but now it’s been brought back with a new host. Not sure when it starts though.

Series 1 was good - the editing was weird though as certain players barely featured at all.

Yeah, that’s correct. I agree. Though I think Sam initially played a great game his arrogance and entitlement just put me right off him. His reaction when he got nothing was priceless.

In Australian series 2 it was ridiculous how Sam was able to so easily twist suspicion on to anyone else EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Yeah the Faithful were just overly stupid as it literally happened at every round table and then the same result happened - a faithful went.

I thought Australia series 2 was iconic, one of the highlights of the franchise (from those I've seen).

An absolutely legendary ending to the game, and I thought Sam made a good villain. I wouldn't say I liked him, but I did like the traitor on traitor violence.

Australia 2 is my personal favourite finale to date. I still laugh thinking about it now 😄

The first Australian series had another strong finale tbf!

I missed the finale of the most recent UK series as I was on holiday (i'd seen the whole series bar the last 2 episodes..) but when I seen the winners I couldn't bring myself to watch arguably the worst two contestants of the whole series get the win.

The last series was kind of spoiled a bit by Frankie getting the power to meet someone and choosing the Traitor.

After that Jake and Leanne were kind of the only viable winners - they had to ditch both Frankie and Charlotte, Alexander didn't really have a hope as there was suspicion on him throughout.

So yeah the Twist did ruin the final. Although the scenes of Frankie meeting Charlotte and the subsequent fall out was hilarious. I guess had Frankie picked Alexander, or Leanne then things may have been different.

UK series 1 is phenomenal television. They really, really done a fantastic job in terms of casting and selecting the Traitors. The final episode with the firepit banishment and the ridiculously OTT dramatic throwing coloured bags into the fire from Claudia was just the cherry on top to a perfect series. Series 2 and Series 3 were still highly entertaining but the final of S3 was predictable and had quite an unlikeable group of participants (besides Alexander) so it lacked the same suspense and excitement of the previous years.

I'd still say my absolute favourite was Australia series 1 purely for just how quickly intense it got with suspicions being thrown around, allies forming, dramatic moments and a better variety of challenges than the UK format (which was basically repeating the same ones over and over again) plus I thought the final episode was peak TV. We had four finalists all trying to desperately form allies whilst two of the Traitors were lying through their teeth and promising their teammate they wouldn't double cross them when it was so obvious they would.

Unfortunately I think that there's only so much mileage these reality shows can have and inevitably they hit a peak and then start to jump the shark/change the format too much/replicate the same ideas etc and I think the Celebrity versions are a bit overkill to be honest, but we will always have the first three UK seasons, the first Australian season and even the two New Zealand seasons as legendary TV to re-watch I guess.

Australia series 2 was an abomination. 😂 Soooo happy Camille screwed the traitors out of getting anything, that really was the saving grace to a series full of the most unlikeable traitors and the dumbest faithfuls. 💀 Not surprised it got the show cancelled lol.

I was sure I read recently the AUS season was being revived? I think it got cancelled before the show became a proper hit in the UK and worldwide and they were re-considering bringing it back?

I hope so! I’ll eat up any Traitors variant lol.

Yeah the Australian one is back, I think in 2026.

It’ll have a new host too.

Any fans of the early seasons of Big Brother Australia will recognise the new host. It’s Gretel Killeen.
