From a string of singles, a solid album and THAT Boiler Room set, it's hard to see any other winner here than Fred as you all voted in your droves for him (and a 32 point lead).

Strong winner! I do historically enjoy Bicep a lot but they didn't feel anywhere near as omnipresent, as much as I loved 'Water'.

Both acts have smashed through this year thanks to the power of social media, strong streaming and radio support. The lead singer from Kudu Blue really shone in 2022. Clementine Douglas was hot property this year, and you agreed, with several producers looking to grab her vocals for their tracks including Chase & Status, TSHA, Hannah Wants, Franky Wah, Dom Dolla and Lewis Thompson. It was a close call though with only 1 point between the top votes.

Oh wow, pleasantly surprised to see Clementine pipping Becky as the less mainstream choice. I've enjoyed a lot of Kudu Blue material in the past and like her work with TSHA and Franky Wah.

Queen of short songs PinkPantheress has had one heck of a couple of years rising through TikTok exposure in 2021 and becoming the BBC's Sound of 2022 winner. That popularity doesn't look like it's slowing down any time soon.

Eliza does the double grabbing the Best Dance Song award for her huge hit single which features Interplanetary Criminal on production duties. B.O.T.A. spent 2 weeks at #1 and is still in the chart now 22 weeks after it first entered at the end of July.

Another act to do the double, Fred again.. released his third studio album in October after a lot of hype throughout the year. The album reached #4 in the chart and spawned the singles Danielle (smile on my face), Kamille (like i do) and Delilah (pull me out of this) with the latter going on to reach the Top 40 during release week.

Sawree I didn't vote in this but generally good winners, Fred again.. was on fire in 2022 <3 I'd have backed Shygirl over PinkPantheress for 2022 specifically I think but still happy with the win for her + most pleased to see the evil being defeated by dance vocalist quen Clementine :cheeseblock:

She is best known for providing vocals on Chase & Status' "Mixed Emotions" which nearly. broke the top 40 earlier this year. Anyway, you should check out her stuff she is a fantastic vocalist
