Kicking off big time now.

Ten minutes of added time left in this match, ref losing control of this match.

This game is quite something.

I don't bloomin believe it, Netherlands have equalised in the eleventh minute of added time.

Burnley legend

What a cliff-hanger

I'd be amazed if this ends with all 22 players on the pitch.

12 yellow cards given

That free kick was utter genius, what an incredible development!

I’ve always said people should do free kicks like that more often. With so many people in the wall, you’re bound to have players free if you work it well. Good to see it actually works in practice.

14 yellows in the Battle of Lusail.

So we go to penalties again.

And Argentina make it through! Quite the game to watch.

Why would you pick Van Dijk to go first?

I really thought the way the game and even the day panned out that the Dutch were going to nick it but fair play Martinez, another excellent keeper display at the spot kicks.

A bad day to be a Brazilian just got even worse!

16 yellows and 1 red card in the match, I think including Walter Samuel.

Not quite the Battle of Nuremberg then but not far off. I didn't think it was a particularly dirty game I just think the ref was in a festive spirit.

Why would you pick Van Dijk to go first?

He's great at penalties and has balls of steel. The one he scored against Kepa in the Carabo Cup final is one of the best penalties I've ever seen.

Thought Argentina made some weird subs and lost control of the game. At this stage I genuinely think France vs England tomorrow is the de facto final based off of what I've seen so far.

So emotional..!!

The best match of this WC by far.

And once again yday proves international football is by far the best type of football!
