Odds for sidemen getting smaller and Wham slipping to 12/1. Insiders know something we don’t?

CryBaby beat Last Easter and Mariah then, but did Christmas Drillings do enough, with their streaming and last minute push?!
Not sure why Wham! slipping so much (maybe just a reversion to the default position of underestimating Wham!) but not surprised at The Sidemen shortening given all the publicity they’ve been generating. What baffles me is why The Sidemen left it far too late in the week to make their move.

Given their numbers, had they started at the start, they would have gor more punlicity and been in with a reaaally good shout at tpppling the grifter CryBaby

Sidemen’s iTunes numbers are mighty impressive regardless of #1 or not. They should have waited until this week to release it though.
Nah I don’t think so - with Christmas streams being mahoooosive over the next 2-3 days, theyd have no chance
They just needed thie energy from the start of thr week, ans they would have had it in the bag. Maybe they thought CryBaby was gonna do 100k+, so didn't bother till the figures came out

Christmas #1 wasn’t the intention of it though, it was part of a challenge for two halves of the Sidemen. (The other half made ‘This or That’).

Any chance of Jason Manford sneaking into the Album Charts. Have really enjoyed spinning Assembly Bangers this week.

The Sidemen's effort is far from KSI's best song, but he does deserve it more than Ladbaby, who are too rich to convincingly fulfil their raison d'etre (Hacks on how to raise children on a pittance). I'm a longtime fun of the K*nts but feel the lyrics are a bit too straightforwardly political this time. The petrol bast*rd remix is my favourite although I haven't bought any this year as I'm too busy trying to raise children on a pittance.

Would be nice to see both sidemen & k*nts in the top 5 but not expecting it

Think Ed & Elton, Kunts and Sidemen will be 4, 5 and 6 but not sure about the order.

yeah i think it'll be between k*nts & sidemen for the #5 spot unless somehow both have done better than ed/elton. I reckon itll be ed/elton #4, k*nts #5 and sidemen #6

I'd love to see The Kunts at least crack the top 4. If they finish at 5 again...well, at least it would be consistency I guess!
I know it’s unlikely to happen but I really want to see how Jack would deal with announcing it/playing it if the Kunts got to #1 one of these years. Imagine not being able to play the Christmas #1…
They'd have to at least interview Kunt, surely. Probably not live.
They probably have some contingency plan for that, especially since this isn't the first time the Kunts have released. I imagine the would just have a bit explaining the context of it getting to #1 and why they aren't going to play it. It would be rather embarrassing for them if it ever happened though.
I wonder if having 3 songs reach the top 10, but having none of them played, is some sort of record?
