December 30, 20223 yr Author Afternoon everyone! Hope you had an amazing Christmas, and that your festive cheer hasn't entirely depleted yet as this week's chart will be Christmas crazy. As it's an extended show until 6pm tonight, the official chart will go live on the OCC website at 5:45, before the show ends. Please DO NOT post anything until Radio 1 has announced it, because it ruins it for people who want to hear the outcome announced on the radio. Do so at your own peril...!!
December 30, 20223 yr I hope they play Coldplay and NKC if they managed it still which they should do if not a lot changes since Wednesday!
December 30, 20223 yr excited to see if LadBaby have the first ever 1-OUT chart run tonight which I suspect they will. otherwise, Kelly Clarkson to somehow make the top 10 would be great
December 30, 20223 yr Wonder how many non Christmas songs will be in the chart today..I’m going for 4
December 30, 20223 yr Would be great to see Kelly get a new peak and Ari sneakily get a re-peak or new peak. Looking Like we'll get new peaks from: Brenda Lee, Stormzy, Bobby Helms, Michael Buble (Its Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas + Holly Jolly Christmas), Lizzo, Kelly Clarkson (Maybe SCYHM?), Dean Martin, Jose Feliciano, The Ronettes & Sinatra
December 30, 20223 yr Wonder how many non Christmas songs will be in the chart today..I’m going for 4 That seems about right, Escapism, Let Go, Anti-Hero & Kill Bill. Maybe "Out Of Nowhere" as well Edited December 30, 20223 yr by Y'all Starlight
December 30, 20223 yr Damn, they're playing N95 right now on R1. Utter banger. Good it got a #6 peak but it deserved more
December 30, 20223 yr Why doesn't Radio 1 do a year end chart like they did a few years ago instead of the normal charts today? The last one was in 2020.
December 30, 20223 yr Why doesn't Radio 1 do a year end chart like they did a few years ago instead of the normal charts today? The last one was in 2020. Buzzjack’s doing one tomorrow! http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=259747
December 30, 20223 yr Hoping for Brenda Lee in the Top 4, Michael Bublé at #7 for a 5th time, José Feliciano for Top 20 and Nat King Cole for Top 40. Bobby Helms should at least make the Top 10, even if he's queue-jumped a few other Christmas classics which haven't got there yet.
