Agreed - belittling people's taste in music and patronising them is so uncalled for. There's no real need for it.

And to think I get framed as being the bad guy for calling out this behaviour and trying not to let them get away with it, it's just unreal.

I just can't work out why any music fan would treat arbitrary tastes and preferences like it's a hard-coded competition to boast about, and that the competition is against children.

Oh I see Ella Henderson has been added to the credits of that Switch Disco thing now (although Robert Miles is still only credited on Spotify and not on Apple). Wonder why she wasn't on the credits from the beginning.

 

Luude's take on 'Porcelain' was surprisingly good. This take on 'Children' is unsurprisingly dreadful. Don't be a hit please.

I would be surprised if that remix made much of an impression really. (Also isn't the song likely going to ACR after this week anyway? Maybe the remix will give an excuse for them to get it manually reset again I guess)
I also don't think people will be jumping through hoops to listen to Kim Petras remix. Unless it's got some sort of hype on TikTok?
