Here's how I rank them after a first listen

  1. Skrillex, Fred again.. & Flowdan - Rumble
  2. Tiësto - Lay Low
  3. Majestic & Karen Harding - Sweat
  4. High Contrast - Can't Give You Up
  5. D.O.D - Set Me Free
  6. Sigala & MNEK - Radio
  7. Skrillex, PinkPantheress & Trippie Redd - Way Back
  8. Goodboys & Avaion - Numb

Rumble is a strong comeback for Skrillex, pleased that it is seemingly going to be a somewhat big hit. Way Back not quite as good, I'd prefer it if Trippie Redd wasn't on it.

Lay Low seems rather inspired by Unholy to put it lightly but it's another fairly strong track from Tiësto.

Sweat is a bit of a return to form for Majestic, I enjoy the 90s buzzing synth's presence and Karen Harding puts in a great vocal.

Can't Give You Up is a smooth comeback for High Contrast and his best in a long while.

Radio is rather decent but a bit plain like a lot of Sigala's recent work.

My Ranking:

1) Skrillex, Fred Again... & Flowdan - Rumble

2) High Contrast - Can't Give You Up

3) Skrillex, Trippie Redd & PinkPantheress - Way Back

4) Tiesto - Lay Low

5) D.O.D. - Set Me Free

6) Majestic & Karen Harding - Sweat

7) Goodboys & Avaion - Numb

8) Sigala & MNEK - Radio

For me:

1. Skrillex, Fred again.., Flowdan - Rumble

2. Sigala, MNEK - Radio

3. Majestic, Karen Harding - Sweat

4. Skrillex, PinkPantheress, Trippie Redd - Way Back

5. High Contrast - Can’t Give You Up

6. Tiesto - Lay Low

7. D.O.D. - Set Me Free

8. Goodboys, Avaion - Numb

‘Rumble’ by a distance. ‘Radio’ although basic is quite addictive thanks to MNEK. I can see myself returning to ‘Can’t Give You Up’ more as the days go on. The last three didn’t really grab me from a couple of listens.

my choice

Tiësto - Lay Low

High Contrast - Can't Give You Up

Majestic & Karen Harding - Sweat

D.O.D - Set Me Free

Skrillex, Fred again.. & Flowdan - Rumble

and also released this week:

Guz & Camden Cox - Pouring Rain

Higgo - I Just Wanna Dance

HRRTZ, Poppy Baskcomb - Savior

Good idea here - it was a shame the more general Track of the Week poll in the chart forum ended up fizzling out but I'll try and make sure to take part in these B-)

(not listened to these yet but will do soon x)

Close call between Skrillex and Sigala this week in the results so far! Any more?

I’ve broken the deadlock (for now) by voting for Sigala & MNEK.

Perhaps next week Dan we could allow for multiple votes as was usually the case for the UK Charts poll in the past.

Also, if anyone’s interested, I’ve made a simple short Spotify playlist for this week, and I can happily do this for future weeks unless Dan chooses to instead of course;

Also, here’s the order I’ve rated this week’s songs;

Sigala & MNEK – Radio

Skrillex, Fred again.. & Flowdan – Rumble

Tiësto – Lay Low

High Contrast – Can't Give You Up

Goodboys & Avaion – Numb

Majestic & Karen Harding – Sweat

D.O.D – Set Me Free

Skrillex, PinkPantheress & Trippie Redd – Way Back

Also, a couple more noteworthy songs from this week’s releases I wanted to give a mention to (mainly due to the artists involved);

Armin van Buuren & Matoma feat. Teddy Swims – Easy To Love

Steve Aoki & Regard feat. mazie – New York

Guz & Camden Cox – Rain Pouring

Look forward to next week’s results and poll! :music:
