Sounds big, we've had curiously few big British rap hits so far this year, but this sounds like a big summer track.
Nice. They both could have come a bit harder lyrics and flow wise, but it has replay value. The sample and production is exquisite.

Why has Dave felt the need to do this? It's literally like pairing a Bentley with a Skoda.

If he's responsible for gifting Central Cee a number one, I'm going to hold a serious grudge against him.

They are the 2 biggest urban UK rappers at the moment with albums due to be released this year. Regardless of how much we like or dislike Central Cee’s ability as a musician, he is undoubtedly a big name artist in his own right now.

I think its long overdue that the UK urban rap scene had far more big name collabs which have not been possible due to every rapper picking a side due to situations away from music.

Dave also gifted Fredo a number 1 with Funky Friday back in 2018, but I guess you could argue Dave hadn’t really taken off then as it was his first number 1 too.

Not sure if this is for Dave's album or not, the video is on Central Cee's channel and bills him first (though Dave is billed first on streaming platforms confusingly).

The label is listed as Neighbourhood / Live Yours, Neighbourhood is the label Dave's previous albums were on but I think Live Yours is a Central Cee founded sublabel (though he's not released any of his own previous music on it).

Wow very interesting! Includes 4 tracks featuring the 2 of them, one being the new single sprinter

I've combined the two threads seeming that they both been released on the same EP.

Sprinter is a massive banger and deserves the massive success. The other tracks sounded decent on first listen but I will need to hear them more before I decide on what's the best.

Well I guess the mystery around this is solved! (The label listing being a bit of a spoiler of it being from a joint project).

Guessing these songs probably won't be included in the next Dave solo album whenever that arrives, and I imagine 'Starlight' will end up being an orphaned single too as it'll be way too old.

Trojan Horse is probably my favourite. Every rapper that collabs with Dave raises their level because they know it’s one of the biggest of stages. (Fredo and Stormzy come to mind) Central Cee definitely came good on all of the tracks. Dave still a class above lyrically and flow wise, and this was quite obvious as they went back to back on 4 tracks, but Central Cee was more than respectable.

What's the Real Madrid Brazilian player got to with 'Trojan Horse'.

This in 'UK Rap'
