Fight Night UK wss horrendously sexist too, after Victor and the bodybuilder were CONSTANTLY aggressive to the women, and clearly had a sscret code in their group to get the ones that weren't in their clique up for nomination every single week. BB bosses were dumb af to not see this  Then, the women come back and, oh, you're out for responding to male aggression.

The Brass Eye Paedogeddon episode from 2001 that got over 3,000 complaints at the time.

What happened?

The absolute storm it caused here in 2006 was massive. We even had our PM of the time John Howard calling for the show to be axed.
Who could forget Daphne and Celeste being bottled at Reading and Leeds Festival!

Omg ikonek. Still waiting for them to be invited back, I feel like they'd be embraced these days tbh

No one has mentioned Kanye interrupting Taylor's acceptance at the 2009 VMAs!

Also in the same year Question Time had Nick Griffin from the BNP on for the first time, I remember the protests and uproar about it

Dave Matthews Band Chicago River incident

On August 8, 2004, a tour bus belonging to the Dave Matthews Band dumped an estimated 800 pounds (360 kg) of human waste from the bus's blackwater tank through the Kinzie Street Bridge in Chicago onto the passenger sightseeing boat Chicago's Little Lady sailing in the Chicago River below.

As part of a legal settlement, the band agreed to pay $200,000 to environmental protection and other projects. The band also donated $100,000 to two groups that protect the river and the surrounding area.[1]The band's bus driver, Stefan Wohl, pleaded guilty to dumping the waste in April 2005.[2]

On Sunday, August 8, 2004, at 1:18 p.m.,[6]Wohl was alone in Tinsley's bus and driving to a downtown hotel when he emptied the bus' blackwater tank as it crossed the metal grates of the Kinzie Street bridge.[7]

Passenger boat Chicago's Little Lady was hosting the 1 p.m. Chicago Architecture Foundation tour of the Chicago River. While passing under the bridge, the boat received the full contents of the tank on the seats of its open-roof terrace. Roughly two-thirds of the 120 passengers aboard the tour boat were soaked.[8] The boat immediately returned to its dock, where all passengers were issued refunds. Five passengers went to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for testing. According to the Illinois Attorney General, passengers aboard included persons with disabilities, elderly, a pregnant woman, a small child, and an infant. The filing describes the incident:

The liquid waste was brownish yellow in color, and had a foul, offensive odor. The liquid human waste went into passengers' eyes, mouths, hair, and onto clothing and personal belongings, many of which were soaked. Some of the passengers suffered nausea and vomiting as a result of exposure to the human waste.[6]

The boat's deck was swabbed by its crew, and service was resumed for its scheduled 3 p.m. tour.[9]

Joe mcelderry vs Rage against the machine was quite controversial actually.

Not least because the irony of the song choice was lost on the people who were team RATM.
