I really do not understand how any of this went through so many ears and thought this was acceptable for her, I mean A LOT of people must have been involved

The album isn't amazing. What strikes me is that I was looking for another never really over and.how much I really loved that. So disappointing. If I'm picking faves though, wonder is it. Artificial and all the love are alright too.

 

As artificial goes on, it really feels like she was trying to somewhat replicate dark horse. I quite like that.

There are 3-4 ok sounding songs on the album but apart from that, the album is very underwhelming and fails to capture the magic from prism and teenage dream eras.

Erm yeh that was an experience, there’s 4 songs out of the 13 that are okay, the other 9 are either under average or dreadful. Honestly could have scrapped the majority of the album

I don't think Katy cares anymore and it shows in this collection of B-sides and leftovers.

I genuinely don't think the album's as bad as a lot of people are saying, I mean it's not a great album by any means but there's some decent take aways (Nirvana is easily the best, why have they been sitting on that one?!)

 

There's also some that completely washed over me without leaving an impression (All The Love, Truth) and the few tracks after Woman's World sound like she's trying really hard to be hip. Crush is fun, nothing amazing but passable. Wonder is a pretty end to the album, although the "inspirational" lyrics are a bit 🧐 and it sounds totally disconnected from the rest of the album.

I was hoping for a banger of an album (and I expected that based on Woman's World and Lifetimes), but most of the songs are not for me, sadly! I'll try to give it another listen again to see if my first impression was wrong...

Very sad end to Katy’s career. Wish her all the best on future endeavours. It’s worse than a bad album it’s a bland album it’s one of them albums that just don’t need to exist. The songs are all ok but it’s doing nothing. Unless you’re a hardcore fan you will not be returning to a single song on this album and I’m not sure how many hardcore fans are left.

 

3/10 and she got 2 points out of sympathy. Up there with vultures 2 for flop of the year

This is the most accurate description of the album I've read on here. Crush and Wonder are my two highlights and everything in between is actually not bad. But those collabs after Woman's World are just dire!!

Gorgeous is the only one I kind of like… the rest is terrible.

Genuinely one of the worst albums I’ve heard!

 

I was so excited for her comeback but this is a total flop for me.

 

It’s dated, she sounds horrendous on some tracks and like everyone else I have no idea how this album was even approved with this sort of quality.

 

I laughed when I got to crush (Is it a crush making me blush?!?) anyone would think it’s a parody album.

This would be almost passable for a debut album for an X Factor winner or something like that, but she is/was one of the biggest pop stars of the recent 15 years..

I think this may go down as one of the worst pop albums ever released by a former A-list popstar?

I’m probably the most biased person on this site but I’ve enjoyed every song so far. Nothing groundbreaking or particularly wow, but an album full of basic bops x
