BJSC #151: DEBUT ENTRY

Result: 38th Place

 

 

very ariana-esque, i found this on tiktok, and although at the time was dissapointed with my result, this was good going for a debut!

Qualifying for the final at all on your debut is honestly quite good, a lot of people don't manage that! (I didn't qualify until my 4th attempt x)

 

A good debut entry from you anyway, hopefully looking forward to more bangers from you in the rest of the year B-)

A great first entry Conor - just outside of my points in the final but I did give you points in the semi!

mega throwaway entry tbh, i heard this at pret in luton airport and had it in my shazam, and with the deadline looming i saw it and sent it. not surprised it flopped, 0 effort from me here

Result: Failed to qualify, 24th in Semi-Final

 

 

This was the first result i was dissapointed by, as (bar my debut) the past couple had just been songs i'd found and i didnt really give them much thought, nor were they on my playlist. this onwards i took it a bit more seriously and put songs i actually cared for so seeing it flop was a bit of a shame tbh

if im being honest, this is my least fave single from skylar since i started following her in 2021, but i thought it being more dance orientated, and having piri from piri&tommy may appeal to buzzjack more hence why i sent it, though looking back i wish i sent something else from her catalogue as she has faaaaaar better :kink:

Debbie was on my radar since i saw her open for RAYE, and she dropped this sweet song just before the deadline so i sent it in! another kinda throwaway entry before xmas with little thought, though a song i still like a lot

Result: 34th Place

 

 

my second entry to qualify! if you follow my personal charts youll see that im a big fan of lola, and she had excellent output last year! im glad i waited till this to send something from her though as its one of her finest!

my sellout entry :kink: i didnt realise but it had been on the radio 1 playlist lol! I added it to my library in jan 24 as i saw artists i love (maisie peters, mae muller, dylan) hyping it up online and was curious, and i loved it! my best entry result to date!
