If she doesn’t get it, it might push her back to Steps quicker :kink:

I will always be happier to see her back with Steps quicker. It will be interesting to see if she can get a top 5 but id say she will happy to just get another solo top 10 album so she can say she achieved 2 solo top 10 albums.

Some HMV orders have arrived today.

Townsend have dispatched my order (double LP and Test Pressing) earlier this afternoon.

Hoping for delivery tomorrow, expecting it… Wednesday :kink:

Just about to finish up my first listen and I don’t mind it, it does sound very karaoke. A little like Samantha Jade’s 2018 covers album.

There’s a few I could do with out but also some that I enjoyed. Might try and give it a second listen over the weekend to see if anything other than two or three songs stick.

It’s not a “terrible” collection of covers, listening to them all together.

It could have been much worse but it also could have been much better so.

Tears on the Dancefloor it ain’t. Light up the World it also ain’t!

My vinyl arrived! Not opened it yet or got around to listening but I will tonight hopefully.

In two minds about this, because if I buy it I'd want the deluxe, but £20 is incredibly steep. I wonder if there will be price cuts later in the week if she ends up in a chart battle?

I listened this morning and the instant highlights are Song For The Lonely (an anthem that was underrated for Cher) and Never Trust A Stranger (nice choice - not exactly Kim's biggest hit). The Delta duet isn't as much my thing as I'd hoped - both sound great but I'm not massive on the orignal either. Euphoria is what it is, just sounds like Claire singing over the original - it's good but Loreen's mysterious vibe and breathy vocal is integral to my love of the original. Not sure it needs a powerhouse vocal.

As an overall album, it's better than I expected based on the preview singles (Summer Night City comfortably my least favourite on the album...whoops). I'd happily buy it...but not at £20.

Worried I end up buying it at £20, then there's a price cut, or a 'Party All Night' £5 download edition released midweek with extra tracks.

There will 100% be price cuts on it. If not now, down the line. I’ll get the marble version when it’s nice and cheap. I’ve only kept the picture disc because that’s the one I ordered with my meet and greet ticket!

So the test pressing doesn’t look like the mock-up and apparently no audio on Side A.

It’s going well.
