Sadly I agree as well.

 

I have a feeling the album will be underwhelming in general.

I agree about Abba and in a way its a strange one she went for considering the comparisons with Steps and Abba.

See Cher's Dancing Queen for example, great songs but she ruins them all.

I'm actually of the opinion that Cher did a stellar job with Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!, SOS, Fernando, One of Us, The Winner Takes It All and Waterloo. She made them her own. :wub:

I dont mind Chers versions but they weren't necessarily needed either.

Cher did a few good ones but some of them should be avoided forever.

Claire has announced some HMV signings for release week!

Oh very good, the signing will help sales, top 10 i think should be safe, maybe she will hard to try for top 5.

The Steps ones sold out quite quickly. Not sure how well the Claire ones are faring!

Hopefully they will sell out, how many has she announced?

With steps performing at the weekend it's a busy month for Claire as full on promo will be kicking in for the album. I wonder will a third single get released next week.
