 Die For You was already my favourite album track on Starboy back in 2016 so seeing it finally smash is great as it is, and so I was very excited to hear an Ariana remix after how much I loved the Save Your Tears remix! I don't think her parts are quite as amazing as they were on SYT but definitely still a fan of this and love to see the chart success for it too!

Yay! :cheer:

It's still growing on me too. It wouldn't have been my first choice for a 'Starboy' track to blow up years later (Rockin' would have been brilliant instead) but I am loving it now.

^ I seem to remember liking 'Rockin', 'False Alarm' and 'Party Monster' at the time outside of the really big hits, I should give the album a full listen at some point.

Speaking of big hits...

*.* (the artwork for 'no tears left to cry' and 'God is a Woman' always really stand out )

Edit: Ari and The Weeknd have both acknowledged the #1:

I liked this a little more than I expected - Ariana's addition definitely improves the song, gives it a bit of an extra dimension and it's always nice to hear her harmonies and whatnot. But still not a song I think I'll ever be desperate to go back to, it's just bumped it up from like a 5.5/10 song to a 6.5/10 :kink:

(having said that I have had it stuck in my head a bit today so who knows, maybe it'll grow further x)

Just noticed that this has been added to the Radio 2 playlist.

I only started listening to Radio 2 last year (for PopMaster and Scott Mills) and didn't know how much of a R2 artist she was (have heard: 'Rain On Me', 'Santa Tell Me', 'Santa, Can't You Hear Me?' and 'One Last Time' since the inception of Scott's show in November, so 50% features) and it seems she gets quite solid support from looking through the archives, even '34+35' was playlisted, which didn't fit my stereotypical vision of a Radio 2 song at all  well, it's cool for her to be in the position where she can currently straddle the likes of Radio 1, Radio 2, Capital and Kiss playlists.

This will be featured on Now 114! The cover has been posted on Amazon and mentions 'The Weeknd & Ariana Grande' on the front.
