Charts have always been sexist - look at Westshite and Spicy Ones, Justin and Britney, using the female acts to furthrr their own careers and diminish the female acts' success. Now, we have that legacy and male singers just do better.

It's just they allowed it to fall apart rapidly and of course Wasteoflife trounced them when they were at their nadir with Forever and Wasteoflife were at their apex in late 2000.
