For Primary School: Pokemon cards, wristbands, Football stickers,

At high school: Runescape, Jumpers For Goalposts, 1Cup1Coffee, Cherry ChapStick.

I definitely remember tamagotchis in primary school. Nokia 3310 mobile phones were becoming popular in my final couple of years.

How about pogs? I used to collect loads and swaps with classmates too.

Shag bands were the first thing to come into my head for secondary school

Tamagotchis for primary school - mine was confiscated as the teacher heard me and a friend discussing that it had a baby during class :kink: Piczo, MSN and the Sims for virtual things

Pokémon cards - they got banned

Yo-yos - also banned

Beyblades - banned

Our school was a right hoot

did women have to wear headdresses like in The Handmaid’s Tale?

Did you go to my school, we had the exact same :cheeseblock: Pokemon cards especially were infamous x

Yu-Gi-Oh & World of Warcraft were also quite big for a while, and blackberries, if you want to feel old x

At primary school it was footy (AFL) cards, even some of the teachers were in on it!

Tazos as well, they were massive around the mid to late 90’s

Then Pokémon cards and tamagotchis but I was never into those.

Nothing that really comes to mind for high school though.

Oops realised I was in primary school in the late 90’s, sorry.

Primary: melodicas, British Bulldog, Inkwells, getting slippered, "See Me" and gold stars inside books, pop songs with naughty replaced lyrics.

Secondary: Long hair, getting told to get hair cut, homophobia all the rage, bullying, cassette players, pop music, pop music, football, football, transistor radios.

(this was the 1900's, not 2000's though, admittedly)
