So much for this album not chasing hits  Interested nontheless. "Bad Habits" is probably one of my favourite singles of his so have high expectations for this.
I’m not really an Ed Sheeran fan but I’m intrigued to see what he comes out with. I have enjoyed some of his output.

Is this the first time he's worked with Max Martin?

Nope! He produced I Don’t Care, Beautiful People, Remember the Name and Take Me Back to London. (As well as Ed’s feature on End Game).

Max Martin, Shellback & Fred again.. all worked with him before on "I Don't Care", "Beautiful People", "Take Me Back To London" and "Remember The Name"

lol post-sniped by less than a minute

I'm quite interested to see what he delivers with this if it really is his first "authentic" work.

I find it difficult to believe this whole "oh I don't really care if I don't get a hit out of this one" schtick if i'm honest. Especially with a lead single with Max Martin & Fred Again... production.

Apparently this was supposed to be on Equals, but was removed as he felt it didn’t fit the sound of the album. It’s also apparently the only non-Dessner track on Minus.

One would presume it’ll fit the sound of Subtract/Minus then.

Kinda feel sorry for Dressner

but just further proof that Ed has zero integrity and doesn't care if a piece of work is cohesive and only cares about chart positions sadly :/

Or you could wait until you hear it?

Having multiple producers on an album is hardly the end of the world  Taylor had a few Jack Antonoff-produced tracks on folklore/evermore and it didn't make them any less cohesive or more chart-desperate.
I'm guessing that this is a leftover from Equals to hype the record and pre-orders. Then fans will once again receive a snooze.
