September 22, 20231 yr First listen rate: 07.5 Paint The Town Red > Still think this is weaker than 'Demons' and 'Attention', but it's growing. < 10.0 Demons > JUST SO DAMN GOOD! One of my favourite Doja songs. < 08.5 Wet Vagina > Perfect follow-up track to 'Demons' on the album! It goes HARD! So deliciously hard! < 08.0 Fuck The Girls (FTG) > The production on this and the last 2 tracks are GREAT! Her flow on this track is... WHEW! < 08.0 Ouchies > Oh she is NOT fucking around! her rapping has come along even more this time around. It feels like she has something to prove and she's smashing it! < 07.0 97 > The weakest of the 6 so far, but it's by no means bad! Could be a grower. We shall see! < 07.0 Gun > This is alright too. Again, I think it could be another grower! < 07.5 Go Off > This is chill and smooth. I like this. < 09.0 Agora Hills > Oh this is good! I can definitely see why this is chosen as the next single. I can't explain it, but the production gives me 'In A Perfect World...' (think 'Slow Dance', 'Intuition', 'Energy' etc..) by Keri Hilson vibes! < 06.0 Can't Wait > Can't say I'm too big on this one. But it's fine. < 06.5 Often > More interesting than 'Can't Wait'. Her versatility is insane though. This is pretty much a soul track! It's nice. < 06.5 Love Life > This has a nice throwback to early 00's hip-hop vibe to it. I like it, but I doubt I'll go back to it outside of the album. < 07.5 Skull And Bones > This is slick! I really like this and I especially love the backing vocals throughout! < 08.5 Attention > I really need this to start getting it's flowers. It's so different and unique in the best possible way. No WAY would anybody dare to release a track like this! < 06.0 Balut > This is ok. I'm just not sure it's for me. I find it a bit boring. < This is absolutely a rap album. If you're hear for 'Hot Pink'/'Planet Her' commercialised rap/pop Doja, then I wouldn't get your hopes up too much. But if you like her rapping, then I can't recommend this enough. It really felt like she was out here to prove a point on this record. It's a solid rap record. I do miss/wish we had a couple of "Pop/Rap" Doja on there, but for what it is, it's a great effort by her and I think it'll only grow.

The hook is quite catchy. < 08.5 WYM (Freestyle) > Oh this is a LOT of fun. Going back to the more "aggressive" and hard production style of the first half of the album, I love how playful her rapping and lyrics are on this. Really good! <

September 24, 20231 yr I gave the full album a listen. Unfortunately i wasn't too much of a fan though i am a pop hoe, and planet her was an album i loved, so i think thats expected paint the town red remains a bop though (i think its the most planet her-y song from scarlet which is probably why i love it). Attention is also a great track, and i quite like Shutcho, and Can't Wait. Agora Hills is a good single choice too, thats also a nice track, but im not a fan of much of the rest oop
