Quite the battle between J-Lo and Amy was going on here but in the end it was J-Lo who received more votes with 'Love Don't Cost A Thing'. It became J-Lo's 1st of 3 UK #1's. A statement comeback at the start of 2001 made way for a lengthy top 10 singles streak from this one up to 'I'm Glad' in 2003. It was reportedly written around Jennifer's relationship with Sean Combs (Puff Daddy / P Diddy) of two years up till that point.

3rd Jennifer Lopez - Love Don't Cost A Thing (18 Votes Out Of 39) [46.15%]

4th Beyoncé Ft Jay-Z - Déjà Vu (22 Votes Out Of 40) [55.00%]

5th Pixie Lott - Mama Do (20 Votes Out Of 36) [55.56%]

6th Architechs featuring Nana - Body Groove (15 Votes Out Of 36) [41.67%]

7th George Harrison - My Sweet Lord (15 Votes Out Of 41) [36.59%]

8th Akon - Locked Up (14 Votes Out Of 37) [37.84%]

9th Usher - Confessions Part II / My Boo (13 Votes Out Of 38) [34.21%]

10th Soulja Boy - Crank that (Soulja Boy) (12 Votes Out Of 42) [28.57%]

Maiden # 1 in my chart for Girls Aloud vs my least favourite single of that year.
It’s actually really close for me - Rehab isn’t one of Amy’s best though so have gone for GA. It should be GH winning of course (I don’t think I’ll ever cease being gobsmacked about that).
I like both but voted Rehab to win. :D
