Any news of a new proper single anytime soon? Lionheart has been out a while now and fell out the chart

The new single is 'Do U Want Me Baby?' with Billen Ted feat Elphi.

 

He has been teasing it on TikTok, likely out in a few weeks.

I am expecting him to go more big room sounding after Lionheart and/or follow Calvin in a Robert Miles-esque trance sound.

It sounds okay. I used to really like Joel, but it seems he just churns out a bunch of stuff that largely isn't as exciting as, say, "Head and Heart" these days... Happy to be proved wrong.

Not really liking the sound of it from the snippet. A little too generic and TikTok chasing imo.

I'm just waiting for this to be tied with the vocals to judge, I wasn't sure about "Miracle" for example from the first snippet until I heard everything tied together and then I was hooked. Maybe it'll be the same here

I think this is his first miss for me. Not really loving the production. Although I can already feel the chorus getting stuck in my head so I may change my mind later :lol:

This feels very much like a TikTok ready song - less that 2mins 30secs long, vocals which sound like they have already been sped-up.

 

But it's really quite catchy, and actually a little bit of a step away from what he usually does.

 

Think it will be interesting to see how this does.

well this ain't a hit. even his last club-only track was better (Nikes).
