April 20, 20232 yr Author Oh thats fast Wasnt expexting that Is that dressner produced again? Nope, it’s produced by someone who goes by ‘Bullion’.
April 20, 20232 yr Never heard but glad he's walked away from Dressner, don't think it worked I had heard some of the songs live before he went to recorded them with Dressner and Dressner ruined them, they were acoustic little folkish song and Dressner made them sound like too much like The National
April 21, 20232 yr Really liking the sound of the first single - pre-ordered the marble vinyl, cassette & signed print bundle.
April 21, 20232 yr Nope, it’s produced by someone who goes by ‘Bullion’. Nathan Jenkins - excellent producer btw. Recently worked with Avalon Emerson on the fantastic “Sandrail Silhouette” <3
April 21, 20232 yr I’m torn. I want to preorder a vinyl but I’m not sure I can cope with seeing that album cover in person
April 23, 20232 yr Never heard but glad he's walked away from Dressner, don't think it worked I had heard some of the songs live before he went to recorded them with Dressner and Dressner ruined them, they were acoustic little folkish song and Dressner made them sound like too much like The National It's Dessner btw
April 23, 20232 yr I’m torn. I want to preorder a vinyl but I’m not sure I can cope with seeing that album cover in person I know! I was hoping it was a placeholder and not the real thing
April 25, 20232 yr The single is merely okay for me. I think I may be getting a little bored of him sadly
May 27, 20232 yr Really enjoying ‘Walking Backwards’ - so far this era sounds much more commercial to his recent efforts. Off to see him at The Royal Albert Hall next week, can’t wait.
May 27, 20232 yr The first is nice enough but Walking Backwards is much better. I liked his last album a lot tbh. Nothing on the first two but still very good.
June 17, 20232 yr Hmmmmm so I'm not loving this on first couple of listens. Noonday Dream was like this at first but revealed itself to be full of subtle charm, I'm not confident this will do the same
June 18, 20232 yr I’m the opposite, I’m really enjoying this and think it’s one of his best most recent efforts. His show at RAH was immense too apart from 70% of the crowd shouting out for songs from ‘Every Kingdom’ :drama:
June 18, 20232 yr ^and didn't he got pissed off? In the past he's even left gigs cos someone requested Only Love He's totally lost me as an artist, for a long long time he was my #2 fav artists but now cannot even listen the songs are great in acoustic form but ruined with the production, wake me up when he goes back to playing guitar
June 18, 20232 yr ^and didn't he got pissed off? In the past he's even left gigs cos someone requested Only Love He didn’t even acknowledge them - I was at one of his shows years ago where he called people shouting it out c**ts  He built his fanbase off the back of that album now refuses to acknowledge its existence  Interested to see how the new album does, there appears to be zero hype/interest around it plus it’s a busy week for new releases - even his webstore couldn’t be bothered to even dispatch my pre-order until yesterday afternoon -_-
