October 27, 20231 yr No but really, what you said. I get Farida was a bit jarring and Zac got more airtime than Henry (and annoyed a few people), so you can reason that a bit. But if Trish goes over, sorry to say it, Hallie - who has definitely been more confrontational and loud - then, there’s really no excuse but subconscious racism lol. Absolutely, like… I don’t expect every single person who watches to have the same opinion and adore her or anything, but I can’t fathom how you can look at Trish and just think nope she has to go, other than racism. People really don’t like to have that conversation and confront how their minds are wired, but I just can’t see another reason. Same reason that Noky is called fake, she is being a bit emotional and Trish is forthright and has an opinion on social issues, people of colour and particular women aren’t allowed to :/ I’d get it somewhat if Trish was starting arguments every 5 minutes or being nasty, but she’s not in for the sort.
October 27, 20231 yr What an amazing young woman, I was prepared for this result but feel gutted for Hallie really. She definitely had ups and downs but at the end of the day she’s 18! A lot of us need to remember what we were like at that age, and we weren’t a young trans person in this political climate on national TV. She came across amazingly in that interview, such a good heart and a sensible head on her shoulders underneath the bravado and huge personality.
October 27, 20231 yr I definitely expected Hallie to go because of the edit and the fact they’re probably the most “controversial” inside the house of those that were up. I definitely think they’d have made the final and maybe challenged for a win in a vote to save series but well done to them. I’m really glad that they came out to cheers as well. I’d have been removed if I’d entered this at 18 :lol:

October 28, 20231 yr Glad Trish stayed! Not overly bothered Hallie has gone - I don't think the house was bringing out the best in her. Can't believe we're now half way though - gotta be in line for some double evictions soon :D

October 29, 20231 yr Just seen some rumours there is going to be a back-door eviction this evening. Apparently a vote will take place during Late and Live and then the HM will be evicted How true that is though, is another matter
October 29, 20231 yr This is where I'm feeling the series is going to fall apart majorly. I think in the beginning I was so overjoyed to have Big Brother back on TV, but now it's just seeming like ITV have absolutely no clue what a solid format for the show is (god knows how considering C4 and 5 managed it perfectly). 3 weeks left with 13 housemates still there... personally I want event TV with evictions every week until we get down to the final few, not silly backdoor evictions we're going to have to keep tuning into Late & Live for to know what's going on. :drama: Also having just caught up on the last few episodes, I really don't think AJ is a good fit as a main presenter. It's really messy, and I'm probably in the minority but I'd love to see Will hosting the main show himself and AJ staying with Late & Live. :ph34r:
October 29, 20231 yr There’s an eviction tomorrow - someone is “possessed” from today’s task and has nominated 3 people. There will be a flash vote during Late and Live and whoever gets the most votes of those three will go out of the back door! I’m disappointed in Chanelle tbh, she is really quite flimsy. I think Olivia is what we thought Chanelle was tbh, as much as she can be loud and OTT, she is actually lovely and switched on like what she said about transphobia with Hallie’s eviction. Olivia is actually a multi faceted person who has such a good heart but also has fun. Chanelle to be honest just seems to sit there the same as Jenkin and Tom, talking about other people, and she is really quite thick when it comes to real discussions. Idk, I’m sure she means well but I’m really sick of her just being flimsy and there’s only so many chances I can give her overlooking that. I don’t think she’s nasty as such, I think she is very used to being in her own little bubble and only her little life mattering to her?
October 29, 20231 yr Author This is exciting!! Loved seeing the teasers for tomorrow’s episodes! I’m really going off Chantelle, her and jenkin came across so thick with the trans comments and that race couldn’t have played a part of Farida going.
