^^ Last weeks #72 sold 6,896 copies.

Will be a tall order for Kylie to clear 6,500+ copies when it’s doing well in Kylie’s terms for streaming but certainly not the numbers needed for a Top 40/75 - if at a stretch it sells 500 a day on iTunes (3.5k), then it would need at least another 3k from streaming which I can’t see happening?

That's kinda what I was expecting as without more streaming support it will fall short.

The streaming numbers are good but in real terms they are not going to create a chart smash - they are just better than we are used to for Kylie.

Also I’m guessing a lot of the YT views will be coming from outside of the UK - the Americans will potentially be checking it out more than they normally would ahead of her American Idol performance.

I think we’ll see it Top 100 this week, then the rest will rely on radio play, promo, physicals, remixes, streaming playlists etc., all happening together.

She has 140,000 youtube streams from UK for Friday/Saturday. Its 15 on the YouTube streaming chart. That's 250 sales if it is 600 streams per sale on YouTube.

Lots of songs are on ACR too, Padam Padam isn't

Anyhow fingers crossed. I remain optimistic

I actually can see it cracking the top-75 this week! The streaming is ok, she has been much stronger than Say Something on iTunes, and that got to 81. And what Say Something didn’t have for that week is the video release, which proves to gain quite a few streams too.

I know the downloads overall got much weaker in 3 years, but it is compensated by higher position.

And finally, just outside the First Look Top 20 rides the undisputed Princess of Pop Kylie Minogue who is back with new single Padam Padam (21). The electro song has caused quite the stir among her fans, and if the early buzz continues it could well be Kylie’s highest Official Singles Chart Top 40 entry in almost a decade, since 2014’s Into The Blue.

Very good and getting played might help get an extra couple of downloads.

If only it had been a place higher in the First Look chart and snatched a Radio 1 play :drama:

Well she just got my 2 downloads :P I have no idea what to expect on Friday but this is a really great start! Does anybody know where Say Something was on the Monday update?

Not sure where it was. But it comparison I think Say Something was around the 20s on Itunes on Sunday where as Padam Padam is still number 1. Also Say Something had 236k worldwide streams on day 3 and Padam Padam has 443k so its holding up much better at the moment.

1 & 53 now on UK Itunes.

The second version from the Standard download starting to pick up a few purchases

Still 1 on Amazon

Also 3 of songs in that top 20 First Look are Eurovision which may start to fall rapidly, not Loreen, that will stay high, but the others.....

Best thing BMG could do is a 59p download on her website with a completion to win a signed CD single
