It's the moment everyone is waiting for! The yearly Eurovision takeover, after missing last year's Eurovision, because of a road trip, I finally got to watch this year's Eurovision Song Contest. And it impacted my chart as always, in total there are 18 songs from the Contest charting this week, including the new #1. Oh yeah and it's also my birthday chart. Happy to live 25 years here on this wonderful earth!

 

Speaking of which, Sweden's Loreen (we might as well call her the Queen of Eurovision) did it again, she won the Eurovision for a second time, giving Sweden their seventh win tying with Ireland, becoming the first female artist to win the Contest twice, as well as the second singer to win the Contest two times since Johnny Logan. And on my charts, she had instant success with her Eurovision songs, 11 years ago she debuted at #1 with "Euphoria" and this year, she jumps up to #1 with the winning song "Tattoo".

 

The runner-up of this year's contest and the winner of almost every Eurovision Fan's hearts Käärijä from Finland returns to the chart with "Cha Cha Cha" at #2, other songs from the Contest reaching my top 10 are "Queen Of Kings" by Alessandra from Norway returning to #7, "Who The Hell Is Edgar?" by TEYA & Salena from Austria jumping up to #9 and "Due Vite" by Marco Mengoni from Italy returning to the top 10 with a leap to #10.

 

As for the non-Eurovision gains and debuts, Post Malone surprises by jumping to #3 with "Chemical" and if Eurovision songs didn't count he would get his first solo #1 and at #8 is the highest debut of the week: "Side Effects" by Becky Hill & Lewis Thompson. Proving Becky Hill still has success with my charts.

 

New entries from Eurovision come from Alika, Noa Kirel, Gustaph, TVORCHI, Voyager, Mae Muller, Pasha Parfeni, Monika Linkytė, Andrew Lambrou, Joker Out and La Zarra.

 

And other non-Eurovision new entries come from Peter Fox, Nea, Nothing But Thieves, Loi, Angelina Mango, Sam Ryder and LP.

 

As for next week, it's the Eurovision fallout.
