She’s probably taken a Spotify royalty cut in exchange for playlist placements and auto play - it’s a great song but her team/label are playing the game that seemingly needs to happen nowadays plus they will see it as an investment in the new album campaign.

I kinda hope they do something like this with Kylie’s single number 2. I mean this single is peaking and has already done extraordinarily well, but they need more (even if minor) hits to send this album into another league of sales.

 

Meanwhile 812,020 plays on Spotify yesterday! Up 91.5k on the previous Tuesday. Looks like we are in for the new peaks this weekend!

Question: Why doesn't the extended mix have its own position in her Kworb Spotify list. All other extended mixes are listed seperately?

 

I think Peggy is a famous DJ who probably appeals quickly in clubs and dance music playlists across the world, Kylie & BMG had to work harder and maybe building up still.....

 

i think we will see 1,000,000 Worldwide Streams combined on Saturdays update for Friday, especially if that Jax remix can get on a few NMF playlists

I guess they want to wait until as late as possible before they announce so they still get last minute sales from her website.

Yeah it would make the most sense for next week's chart to release it on streaming and iTunes etc from Friday.
