Great to see Padam Padam is getting stronger on Amazon :cheer: and today’s update on Spotify was better than last week’s (in every aspect bar the actual position x). Wonder if we’ll see a streaming increase for Padam Padam in this week’s chart? I just hope the fact it isn’t Top 50 on Spotify doesn’t harm it a lot for tomorrow’s update.

Wow! Padam Padam has just made significant climbs on all Amazon streaming charts:

 

9 (previous peak 10?) (below Vampire, Sprinter and Tattoo but just above 0800 Heaven)

5 (previous peak 7?) (below Sprinter, and 2 places above 0800 Heaven)

4 (previous peak 6?) (Kylie is the number 1 SCR track! Same chart as above but for some reason Sprinter is absent!)

 

Keeping my fingers crossed that it can actually increase streaming this week, and delay ACR by 2 weeks!

 

In answer to Carol’s question, I think I have now solved the problem!

Do Amazon prime subs not get to choose what song comes onto Alexa? Do we know if Alexas chart are counted as sales what she plays randomly? Its sort of like a playlist I guess hun?

On Amazon Prime, I cannot choose what song to play when using the app. BUT I did manage to get it to play PP from a browser when viewing it from the chart. Otherwise it has a ‘shuffle’ icon on it and won’t actually play the desired track. I believe Alexa doesn’t have a separate chart - it all feeds into these charts, depending on whether you have prime or unlimited.

 

Someone said that Prime counts as premium… I’m sure it used to but I can hardly believe it does any more, now that you can’t select a song. The good news is that prime feeds people a lot of Padam Padam - and then lots of songs on ACR.

Up 8 on Spotify, but has a lot of Taylor and oldies above it so would be #29 removing those.

So pleased it’s back in the Top 50 in the UK :cheer:

35k Spotify streams from Poland! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

 

Charting in 6 countries in same day. Charted in 7 countries now as it also made top 200 in Finland a few weeks ago

 

We also have to remember last Saturday was Gay Pride so that was a big streaming day for PP

I know that the US is her focus at the moment but it really does feel as if she is ‘needed’ in Europe - the fact it’s getting some traction in countries she hasn’t toured, promoted or visited in years feels like a missed opportunity if they don’t do something, even 1 big European TV show or something.

Maybe PP will be in full flow in Europe while the UK gets the 2nd single underway.

I cant see anymore new things being filmed in America? Is she having a break? It does feel like if promoting in America is done, then maybe promote somewhere else to push the song higher huns?

I think shes more focused on tour stuff and the vegas residency, I think there may be something around the album launch though hun
