I am surprised that Mae's management did not attempt to book (at least) a bigger venue in London after she did a reasonably sized headline tour in 2022. It would have been a good opportunity to combine signings with a mini tour especially as she doesn’t have HMV signings. The venues they chose seem small…

Mae appeared on The One Show yesterday and the first thing they mentioned was how she finished 25th at Eurovision :drama:

She got downgraded in Manchester from Club Academy (capacity: 470) to YES (capacity: 250) and on my ticket which I bought on Monday, it's numbered "53" - hopefully that's not how much she sold

!!

 

Oh god, we were Ticket 7 from the first day, so I would hazard a guess that it is indeed the amount they sold :lol:

I looked at her extra signing at Banquet Records 5 minutes ago (back by popular demand!) and it showed 3 left so I thought YAE MAE you sold out both of them and then I realised I clicked on the original one and it's still showing 43 left. It was showing 50 on Monday soon after it was announced.

They mae have added some spaces but it’s tomorrow and I thought they had both sold out.

Sadly the material is not there is it?

 

I would love to support her as I really warmed to her personality during Eurovision and I am willing her to do well, but I can't buy an album of material that is this average.

Unfortunately I agree :( the last two have been average duds which is a shame as I really love her as a person!

This one is so good! Love the dramatic instrumental! I must admit the date push back was a pain but fingers crossed it can still go top 10 in two weeks time. I’m expecting it to perform similar to Tate McRae or Mimi webbs albums and chart at around 7

Just realised that her vocal is so similar to Jesy Nelson's. They could duet together.

Nothing she has done has been good in my eyes, still shocked she was picked for our entry with that song. She seems genuinely lovely though so hope this does something for her, but we probably won't hear from her again after this album
