Aqua ready for their top 40 return *.*

The Stormzy track didn't stand out too much to me, compared to the Dave and J Hus songs. Quite surprised at the 300k opening though, seems really low.

Decent hold for Kylie although Friday is a big day for Padam Padam usually.

Yesss at Peggy, on her way to No.2 probably, as Dave is miles ahead.

What a seriously awful top 3. Shame Side Effects is not getting the recognition it deserves on the charts. IMO by far the best dance track out right now

Also can't believe the low numbers of streams in the top 50, only the top 2 are having decent streams if we think of the UK population. Are most music fans moving to Apple Music or other streaming platforms?

'Limping' to his highest Spotify position as lead artist since 'Own It' :P

With the top 2 still being so strong #3 was really the best he could hope for especially given he's still not top 10 on Apple yet. I think his last album may have done a bit of damage to his brand but some signs of this song bringing some fans back.

8 Young Thug songs in the top 200 (as well as the ones in the update, 'Cars Bring Me Out' w/ Future at #91, 'Money On The Dresser' at #137, 'Abracadabra' w/ Travis Scott at #156, 'Want Me Dead' w/ 21 Savage at #177 and 'Gucci Grocery Bag' at #178).

Meanwhile LADY GAGA has debuted in the US and global top 10s! :o

...that is, the song 'LADY GAGA' by Peso Pluma, Gabito Ballesteros and Junior H :magic:

Peggy Gou is going to be the song of the summer, isn't it :D what a banger! Possibly official #1 in a few weeks?
That top 3 is beautiful. Sadly however Stormzy has “fell off”. Dave and Central Cee have both surpassed him as being the biggest UK rappers in my view. And looking at these numbers it may been even worse than what I thought.

Worst top 3 :/

can we have Peggy, Taylor and Kylie in the top 3 instead :D

Not a fan of BG being slaughtered but at least they credited Aqua on the song and I hope that Stormzy can topple Dave Cee

Sprinter is a bop so I’m glad it doesn’t seem like it’s going to be challenged much again this week

It’s wild there was such a dry spell of big UK rap hits and now 3 all come along at once

Guetta flopping with bad cover of a dance classic number 32673276 we like to see it :D
Can we have Bananarama's Cruel Summer in the charts instead? I fail to see what the big fuss is with the Taylor song. :coffee:

That Barbie Girl song is UTTER TRAAASHHH!!!!

Why not judt hsvr Aqua rerelease it? Perfect for the film!!

A song called die young would have been banned from the radios in 2020. *.*

Hopefully it will be a future top 40 hit. :D

Ke$ha's song of the same title was banned in 2012 shortly after it was released.

There’s not nearly enough Aqua in that Barbie World song.

It wasn't banned, just a lot of radio stations in the US played it less (or not at all) for a while because they thought it might be insensitive to the public. It did certainly tumble down the airplay charts faster than anything else I can remember (so it was still a remarkable incident), but it was still getting thousands of spins each week to an audience of at least 10s of millions after the "ban". It's hard to find a pop song that gets truly banned, I've even heard Ignition a few times in recent years.

Apple

17 Cruel summer

Lots of Arctic Monkeys climbing big (Glasto effect)
