The longevity of this song for its genre is truly outstanding. I see why, this song has always hit different. Real emotion and highly relatable lyrics, true music from the heart that I will never get bored of.

 

It's more just the indie crowd like to latch onto ONE song every once in a while and stream it ad infinitum (see also Heat Waves).

 

It's weird that "kill" is not censored here but it was for Kill Bill.

Blows my mind that Jonas Brothers only have 1 top 10 and 7 top 40 hits

 

Bear in mind they had a 10 year hiatus and barely got started before their "split".

 

She did what she used to do best back in the day with Can't Get You Out Of My Head and Slow: an earworm of a chorus on top of futuristic production that isn't really being heard elsehwere in the charts yet (the Romanian charts maybe, but not UK).

 

We had a slap house #1 over 3 years ago in Roses.

I doubt the ‘indie crowd’ keep playing the song constantly more likely it’s reached out to new audiences hence its continued popularity.
