That was my point, saying it was a bad week for her to release is kind of implying that she would normally have a good chance of #1 which probably isn't the case. Depends on how well she holds up but I'm guessing her sales will end up only being enough to have been #1 on maybe 5 or 6 previous weeks this year.

Maybe if she stopped living it up in America and did some promo in the country that gives her the most attention she wouldn't need to keep releasing remixes, as much as Kylie and BMG want her to be big in America it is unlikely to happen and she would be better making tv appearances over here and cementing her relationship with the British public. I am sure if she had got herself a guest appearance at Glastonbury (maybe with Rick Astley) it would have given the song a push, instead she is telling interviewees how America can look at her back catalogue see what they have missed and hinting at Las Vegas concerts and Madonna collabs.

It's promo for the residency. Yes it's a bit irksome but for her it's important. Also what TV appearances could she do over here other than Graham Norton or Jonathan Ross which I suspect are both pencilled in for the album's promo in September. She could do This Morning, GMB, Loose Women, BBC Breakfast amongst others, I remember when Steps did their comeback they even appeared on regional news shows and with the publicity she has got from this amazing comeback most live, talk related shows would welcome her with open arms.

Oh please my hun Kylie and Steps are totally different. Kylie does not need to go on all those shows right now hun. The shows she will be booked on will probably be for the album. Kylie is doing great in the singles chart. When was the last time you managed a recording artist hun? You seem to know a lot about all of this. Maybe she is contracted to promote more in America due to her Vegas residency. She is doing great! Also hun, TV shows dont really sell songs like they used to these days. This Morning and BBC Breakfast will be in September. Believe me I'd love a performance, even one filmed in the states and shown over here. But there aren't many options on TV anymore for major artists.
