I mean there must be some sort of half hearted plan otherwise why send it to A list on BBC Radio if its not going to get any promotion and you would think the week where she has the promo it would be the time.....

Well, to be fair Radio 2 have playlisted each and every single since the BMG era began. Even the small-fry ones like Dance Floor Darling, New York City, A Lifetime to Repair and the dreadful Gloria Gaynor one.

I thought we might get a Vegas High buzz type single and hashed together Vegas video seeing as that it’s the priority atm.

As Jessie said I wouldn’t take the R2 playlisting for much - they playlist every Kylie track and their playlists seem to have minimal chart/iTuned impact although it’s great to have and may send people to seek out the album.

 

I do think overall visibility/performances has been missing this era - she done a ton album release week but a live performance on SCD, GN, One Show etc., would have really helped people connect more with the album.

I am still 99% a video is made lol 😆

It’s a start - should be enough for a #98 placement on the physical chart between us :lol:

Hopefully a video does come as this is the week to throw everything at it if its to do anything.

If it even beats its current peak I'll be over the moon, but realistically I'm not expecting it to show up at all.

Vinyl and CDS this morning so there is two more. Padam and Tension got a lot of promo in the lead up to the album and she's got that big "evening with" show with ITV on Sunday so that might help!

I’m glad they designed them like the Disco era 7” singles, by having a thick spine with text printed on them. It’s more common for the spine to be thin without any text. It just makes them feel like higher quality to me lol, I appreciate it.

My HOTN CD single and cassette have arrived along with the 3 7” vinyl’s. I even got my first Tension album cassette. So I’ve done my bit this week :lol:
