July 9, 20232 yr It kind of reminds me of what the Home & Away theme song would sound like in another dimension as an actual pop song. As for 'Celebration', that should have never even happened full stop let alone be a single.
July 9, 20232 yr Author It should have been released instead of Celebration. Far better song. I like it. I do prefer where in the world but im not sure if it would have done any better than celebration in the charts. The studio version of celebration is very flat but i have enjoyed some of the live celebration performances at the concerts, celebration also probably picks up some casual streams and maybe more than where in the world would have managed but thats where the double a would have worked as where in the world would have had its moment aswell. As bonus tracks on greatest hits releases i also much prefer where in the world to new york city.

I think that could have well happened, celebration just about made the top 20 so where in the world might have beaten some kind of bliss to the title of breaking her run of top 20 hits.
July 10, 20232 yr Yeah I definitely don’t think ‘Where in the World’ would have performed any better than ‘Celebration’. I don’t mind Kylie’s cover but I can’t say I’m crazy about the song whoever sings it, as iconic as it is. I can see the logic in releasing it given how successful ‘Give Me Just a Little More Time’ had been.

July 16, 20232 yr Author My biggest issue with I was gonna cancel is I think it's the only time kylie tried to follow a trend rather than been herself. Nothing about it felt in any authentic to me.
