Still can’t believe we’re going to the World Cup for the first time in nearly 30 years. One of the maddest nerve racking games of football I’ve ever watched. Absolutely buzzing though, the first and last goals for us were absolutely superb!

Both Scotland and Austria in their first World Cup for 28 years.

I would like Wales, Ireland, and Northern Ireland in separate semifinals but now that's gonna be harder to pull off.

Happy for Scotland! Weirdly I don't feel the same dislike to international sides as I do to club sides.. even though I know all the other home nationals despise England with a passion!

It's bonkers that in the summer outside all of the home nations (except Northern Ireland) and Ireland fans were not happy.. now look at everyone!

As Jonathan Wilson said in the Guardian it’s maybe not the best quality but it’s football in its purest form where players play for the shirt and for their team/country/people.

I hope Italy makes it this time. They are a very noticeable absence when they don't qualify and this time around they would have needed to be perfect to finish above Norway in their group and would have been if not for Norway.

Feel like I watched a million fan celebrations of the late Scottish goals, the Scottish broadcast of the highlights, post game reactions etc. I know one thing, Freed from Desire streams are going to peak this week.

The draw for playoffs takes place on Thursday in Switzerland. After drawing the four Paths each one will have a random team drawn as host of the final. So someone could be at home if they reach the final, or it could end up being a neutral site depending on the results. The semifinals will be hosted by the higher seed.
