July 22, 20231 yr absolute yaaaaas i’ve really enjoyed this season overall, not sure why it was expected to be terrible ! sure the heidi thing was a shame but so many other queens were a joy to watch (darienne, kasha, lala, jessica), alexis was messy and dramatic in the best way and i would totally watch a kandy + jimbo spin-off - they work really well together as a top 2. jimbo absolutely deserves her place in the hall of fame. an icon.
July 28, 20231 yr Author I actually quite enjoyed this finale, more than recent ones. Giving the eliminated queens a role, keeping them around for workroom shenanigans and giving them some free gifts was a nice touch and padded the episode where normally we have the 'talk to you as a child' pictures which is just a drag! Obviously Jimbo bodied Kandy. Kandy does try but I just don't think she has 'it' to be a winner, right now anyway. Nothing she showed on this season left me thinking she had any chance at the crown and even the judges had to struggle to make out like either could win.
August 12, 20231 yr Really happy Jimbo won! Happy to see LaLa win the vote, although I was hoping Darienne would win it. I do wonder who would've won if LaLa and Jaymes didn't get the vote multipliers.
August 12, 20231 yr Just finished this series recently Jimbo finally getting the crown after being screwed over twice! Such a strong performance throughout. The lip sync losses were hard to watch but what genius to bring Casper back just win one! Not sure Kandy should have made the top 2 (every character she plays is still just herself…), but not sure who’d I’d have put up there Really glad to see queens like Lala Ri and Jaymes Mansfield come back way stronger than their original season - although I thought the only odd vote was to eliminate Jaymes just because she hadn’t won a challenge (but also had never been in the bottom) Early eliminations weren’t really a surprise (maybe Darianne - although she was always a distant 4th on Season 6 for me)
