It failed to make the Official Singles Chart, but Mind Your Business has debuted at #10 on the Singles Downloads Chart and #11 on the Singles Sales Chart.

Thrilled to see Billie in the top 3 :heart: was quite blown away by that on first listen, would easily be a highlight even on one of her actual albums so certainly much better than I expected for a soundtrack single. Would love to see that being the song to dethrone 'Sprinter', it's been closing the gap quite nicely on Spotify the past few days. (May be in the position to go to #1 by default in a couple of weeks even if it doesn't outright overtake, although ofc other contenders might arise by then too).

 

Nice new peaks for Dua and Nicki/Ice/Aqua too (seen on the OCC site this is the first time a movie soundtrack has ever had 3 of the top 5 in the same week!), and cool to see Charli getting a solo top 20 hit but that's easily the weakest of the 4 Barbie hits released before the album imo, very mid oop. The original 'Barbie Girl' being top 40 as well :cheeseblock:

 

Wow at Radio 1 finally giving in and playing 'Talibans', thank you Burna Boy I suppose :magic: great to see that now making the top 15, though guessing this'll likely be its peak so another good track falling just short of the top 10 (Jorja Smith dropping again too boo x), though at least it is a high quality top 10 right now.

 

'Disconnect' is ok, definitely better than the last few Becky hits (I think 'Here For You' was the last one I liked more, and maybe 'Heaven On My Mind' out of her top 40s?), still a bit subpar by C&S standards but I'll take it giving them another potential big hit - probably not out of the question that it could eventually give them their highest peak ever?

 

#23-25 are all new entries for a second week in a row! (but not #22 as well this time). I've not heard the song yet but yay for Bad Bunny finally having another UK chart appearance, if nothing from 'Un Verano Sin Ti' could even so much as go top 100 here I guess he'll probably never chart without the assistance of a big English language artist or two but I can keep hoping for the stars to somehow align. (Also he's lucky that Travis released it as a single with the features credited, since he's back to his usual ways of no credited features on the album itself, including on 'K-POP' lol)

 

I checked out the Post Malone remix of 'Dial Drunk' the other day and didn't think his part really added much to the song, but the song in general is growing on me a bit, nice that it has made the top 40 now.

 

+ not that it was in any doubt but yay for Blur banking in another #1 album, joining the list of acts having #1s in every decade since the 90s
