Enchanted is genuinely one of the most perfectly written songs I have ever heard and to think it was written about OWL FKING CITY of ALL PEOPLE... LMAOOO OMG. Taylor was head over heels for him!!! I love the fairytale-esque production of this. It sounds like it should be soundtracking every major motion Princess movie for all eternity. I love songs that build and tell a story throughout (see 'All Too Well' and Kelly Clarkson's 'Piece By Piece' etc..) and this is probably the best song of that kinda thing. Rumoured to have been planned as the final single from the era back in 2020 before Covid put an end to it, this actually ended up getting paid it's dues thanks to Tik Tok, her tour and just people having INCREDIBLY DAMN GOOD TASTE. The bridge is to DIE FOR. One of the punchiest and catchiest bridges of all time (alongside my top 2 in this countdown!). Just an all out almighty pop gem. Getaway Car FhPLQVlUiNQ At number 2 is the 2nd of the "Taylor Bridges Holy Trinity" (and *SPOILER ALERT* you will see the 3rd at number 1!) and it's the highest track from 'Reputation', Getaway Car. I just love a good, euphoric, synth-pop EPIC. It was immediate love with this song for me when I first listened to Rep. THAT bridge is to DIE FOR (although it's not better than 'Cruel Summer's or my number 1's, imo - but it's still phenomenal). I am so glad to see that this song has been slowly gaining and gaining in popularity over the last few years (and then the iconic video of the process behind the chorus with her and Jack). It's just so lush and euphoric with it's sound. It's just STELLAR. Out Of The Woods gp1MR2WAAXY To the surprise of (presumably) NOBODY Out Of The Woods is the triumphant winner in my countdown and honestly as much as I love everything else, I don't think this will be touched. I am EXTREMELY grateful and thankful that the "Taylor's Version" actually kind of improves on the already spectacular original... it's CRAZY. It's one of those songs that once I am on it, I honestly struggle to get it off repeat... EVERY TIME. It's literal pop perfection and a top 10 song of all time for me. The BRIDGE is probably my favourite bridge of all time (even if I do only ever imagine the meme of "20 stitches in a hospital room" now lmaoooo). The chorus is repetitive, but not in a grating or jarring way. It's just irresistably catchy and just an outstanding piece of music. LOVE!
