I def wouldn't include Fun in this category or Owl City ('Good Times' was a big hit too). Probably not Cassie or Esmee although more arguable.

I can think of loads of pre 2000s easily but struggling to find any post 2000s but really tough..Jedward had a no.2 with that Queen/Vanilla Ice mutilation and a no.40 with a song called 'Lipstick' (and not going to waste my life hearing what it sounds like) mind!

I was going to include The Calling and Orson thinking they only had one other top 40 hit other than their biggies ('Wherever you will go' and 'No Tomorrow') but both had THREE other top 40 hits each. The charts of the mid noughties were so forgettable.

Sandi Thom is one that comes to mind that hasn't been mentioned, not many would remember she had another top 30 hit after I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker... and it's not half as memorable

I guess Kate Nash is similar - although she in fact had 3 other hits after the one everyone knows I certainly couldn’t hum any of them.

Awww, I don't disagree with that assessment for the general public but personally, I effing LOVE this by Kate Nash. By far better than 'Foundations' in my opinion - such a fab, campy, retro sound and catchy as hell. :cheeseblock:

^^^ I stayed on the Kate Nash hype train for a while really, so I enjoyed all the singles from album 2!

Album 1 was all kinds of amazing

but album 2 was trash, not 1 single good or even semi-decent song, the biggest 2nd album slump ever quality-wise

Athlete had a huge hit with Wires

and then a bunch of little ones no one cares

but Wires is a classic of classics

'Wires' annoyed me for some reason, but I really loved 'Half Light' and I remember being a bit gutted it wasn't a bigger hit.
'Wires' is a great track but I don't think I heard the follow up. I do know another track of theirs made top 40 in 2007 too which I know I have heard but can't recall now!
Plain White Ts had a huge no2 hit with ‘Hey There Delilah’ and then two top 75 follow ups!
I remember 'You Got the Style' from Athlete, way before they got big with 'Wires' - surprised they only had one other top 30 hit. Thought they were bigger than that.

Our Time Now was such a bop but shame it never made the top 100

where did "Rhythm Of Love" peak? That's the other big hit I remember from them

I was all set to post this rather lovely chilled dance track (with the memorable giraffe video), a no.2 in 2013, in the 'One Hit Wonders' thread but then after checking found out he had a follow up no.23 with 'U Got It' (no me neither)

#60 and that's the first I knew of them charting in 2010 only just now. I've never seen or heard it!

Junior Senior had arguably one of the biggest dance tracks in 2003 with Move Your Feet which got to #3 but who remembers Rhythm Bandits from the same year? It got to #22 (I really enjoy it)

Rhythm of Love is far superior!
