Also worth remembering that context is important. Padam was the exception, not the rule. It's obviously given Tension a leg-up but Kylie has no established history of smashing out the gate on Spotify. I struggle to see how it's disappointing!

For a Kylie single to even be in the top 200 after the weekend is a miracle in the streaming age. BMG aren't a payola label and Kylie isn't a tiktok artist.

I am sure these are the same people who said when Weekend popular fell hard on the Saturday spotify chart which was released on the Sunday, that it was totally normal for a song to fall so much and The weekend are a streaming giant.
