September 1, 20233 yr Author  Missed the top 40 this week? Zach Bryan featuring Kacey Musgraves I Remember Everything Album track from Zach Bryan Released: 25th August 2023 Label: Belting Bronco Records Video ZVVvJjwzl6c Biography A plaintive, quivering country troubadour indebted to the literary side of Red Dirt country -- he wrote a song saluting Evan Felker of the Turnpike Troubadours, one of the genre's leading lights of the 2010s -- Zach Bryan began carving out a career for himself while he was still enlisted in the Navy. He recorded his 2019 debut DeAnn during a break in his service and it, along with videos he posted online, helped him cultivate an audience that crested with the 2020 release of Elisabeth and its accompanying single "Heading South." Bryan capitalized on this burgeoning popularity with American Heartbreak, a sprawling 2022 triple album that marked his major-label debut and mainstream breakthrough: it debuted at number one on Billboard's Country Albums chart. A native of Oklahoma, spending time in both Oologah and Tulsa, Zach Bryan received his first guitar at the age of 14. Soon he learned how to play, then started to write songs. When he came of age, Bryan enlisted in the Navy, just like his parents before him and his father's father before that. During his spare time in the service, he wrote songs. While on leave, he spent some time relaxing at an Airbnb in Jacksonville, Florida. He and his friends spontaneously decided to record the songs that became his 2019 debut DeAnn; he named the album after his late mother. DeAnn earned positive buzz among Red Dirt aficionados, so Bryan decided to record a second album in the same fashion. Featuring the single "Heading South," the resulting Elisabeth appeared in 2020. The following year saw Bryan release live versions of "Hell or Highwater" and "Condemned," and make his debut at the Grand Ole Opry. "From Austin" appeared in early 2022 as the lead single to his third record, American Heartbreak, a triple album issued through Warner Records in May 2022. The release found an audience, debuting at number one on the Billboard Country chart and five on its Top 200. Bryan supported the album with an extensive tour, the final show of which was captured on the LP All My Homies Hate Ticketmaster (Live from Red Rocks). - Spotify Top 100 Chart History Zach Bryan 2022 70 Something In The Orange -1- 2023 00 I Remember Everything (feat. September 1, 20233 yr Author  Missed the top 40 this week? The Killers Your Side Of Town 2nd single from forthcoming EP Released: 25th August 2023 Label: The Killers Video qtc0AD2qcx4 Biography The Killers dropped English synth-pop down into their glitzy, scuzzy Las Vegas world, and a familiar sound became brand new. The group launched in 2001, when frontman Brandon Flowers—then working in casinos—answered a advert from guitarist Dave Keuning; they wrote their breakout single, “Mr. Brightside”, at their first meeting. Rounded out by drummer Ronnie Vannucci and bassist Mark Stoermer, they rose to popularity with 2004’s glammy, post-punk Hot Fuss, its single "Somebody Told Me" a cheeky summary of a million conversations in the clubs. While initially seeming like a flashier counterpart to the dourness of The Strokes and Interpol, The Killers traded synthesisers for more guitars in the early 2000s, introducing a new sound akin to U2 and Springsteen on albums like 2006’s Sam’s Town and 2017’s Wonderful Wonderful. They do believe in love and rock, but they seem to feel a little sheepish about it as they get ready to go out. They returned in 2020 with their sixth album, Imploding the Mirage, and the Lindsey Buckingham-assisted single “Caution”. The song serves as both a return to roots and a mission statement for their future, as Flowers told Apple Music that it reminded The Killers of a universal truth: "Rock 'n' roll can be transcendent.” - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2004 03 Somebody Told Me -2- MILLIONAIRE 2004 10 Mr. Brightside -1/3- MILLION SELLER 2004 18 All These Things That I've Done -4- 2005 11 Smile Like You Mean It -5- 2006 02 When You Were Young -1- 2006 15 Bones -2- 2007 15 Read My Mind -3- 2007 53 For Reasons Unknown -4- 2007 13 Tranquilize (feat. But no one should have been shocked: Any 14-year-old capable of persuading her parents to move from suburban Pennsylvania to Nashville for her career clearly has ambition to burn. And the thrill of following Swift’s rise has been watching her execute it flawlessly, largely because her melodic intelligence is equal to that ambition. Her early, youthful love songs heralded 2010's newly self-possessed Speak Now—which showed off her scathing wit—and evolved into knowing, ironclad pop fare that held its own against boisterous Max Martin production on 1989, her fifth album, titled after her birth year. Throughout, her songwriting has blurred the lines between the public and private, burying enough real-life clues (about, say, scarves and Starbucks) to make clear that only Swift can own her narrative, thank you very much, while still retaining a lyrical elegance. Though 2017’s reputation might have been perceived as a gorgeously constructed piece of dramatic theater—its attendant heroes and villains all real-life characters from Swift's public feuds—all that spectacle proved an attention-grabbing cover for her most romantic album yet. She turned up the romance even more on 2019’s Lover, but it was 2020’s folklore and its companion, evermore—ruminative, relatively lo-fi albums written and recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic—that earned her the Apple Music Award for Songwriter of the Year. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2009 02 Love Story -1- MILLIONAIRE 2009 60 White Horse -AT- 2009 51 Teardrops On My Guitar -2- 2009 100 Crazier -OST- 2009 30 You Belong With Me -3- 2010 57 Today Was A Fairytale -OST- 2010 30 Mine -1- 2012 67 Safe & Sound (feat.
